Dear saturn alien.

Hello how have you been doing on

your planet? My name is michael and i come from earth and it is cold and hot. Is it cold for you in saturn?Have you ever visited Earth you will hate it because it is your first time on earth and it does not feel like saturn because it is not that cold. How long does it take for you to get from saturn to Earth it must take long for you? How long does it take for you to go around saturn. Did you ever think of going to another planet it would of been great because you can see how they live their life?. If i visited  saturn i will want to see how they live in there planet. I learnt about how they orbit the sun and how far they are from the sun. I have learnt about most of the planets and most of the planets are different to the sun and I did not know that all the planets have gravity. I learnt that this spacecraft called Voyager was going past the planets and i learnt that it went pass  Pluto and it is still going.My life on earth is great because i get to study about lots of planets and i get to go lots of places and get to read about plantes.i get to go to the libary and i get to go and pick some more becasue so i can study about it.the most planets i study about is saturn and i use netbooks to study.

Zoo

So what is the largest zoo in the world. The answer to this question depends on what criteria is used for the term “large”. Are we measuring the number of species held in captivity or the total land area of the zoo. If we consider only the later the Red McCombs Wildlife in Texas with its 12,000 acres could be considered the biggest zoo in the world. But is has only 20 different animal species and is more of a wildlife preserve than an actual zoo. Just considering the number of species however also doesn’t seem to fit the bill.auckland Zoo opened in 1922 experiencing early difficulties mainly due to animal health issues. By 1930 a sizeable collection of animals had been assembled and a zoological society formed.The zoo consolidated during the Second World War and was at that time under the leadership of Lt. Col. Sawer. After the war the collection was expanded, and in the 1950s chimpanzees were acquired to provide tea parties for the public's entertainment, but this practice ceased in 1964. In 1973 the zoo expanded into the adjacent Western Springs park. From the late 1980s to the present day, many old exhibits were phased out and replaced by modern enclosures.there are 82 animals in auckland zoo.16 ha  

Kiwis Hooker signs with warriors

The Kiwis and South Sydney hooker Issac Luke has signed up for the Warriors next season. Issac Luke, has played 33 Tests for New Zealand and is a senior member of the Kiwis rugby team.The kiwi star issac luke shocked his club teammates when he told the Rabbitohs he was leaving the club at the end of the NRL season because he is going to play for the kiwis.after him playing for 11 years he is going to leave the South Sydney Rabbitohs.The Kiwi star shocked his club team-mates when he told the Rabbitohs he was leaving.he never told the Warriors that he was going to play for their team.If i was isaac luck and i was going to leave the team i will be sad and i will tell them that i will miss and i might vs you guys and guys might beat us.Issac luck felt sad that he was going to leave and his team was sad to.

Today we walked to Point England Beach. When we got there we had to find our line then we saw the w aka. Then they were blowing the horn then when they came we had to sing the Maori song the song were nag waka, ehonorae and e oho ra e.we had to sing e oho ra e song in till the waka came then when the flags was put down we had to stop sang then the boat will go back and get more people when they were all had to sing the song first we saying the e oho ra e then the ehonore and the last was nag waka we had to stand up. there were 12 schools there. One was St Pius, Point England, Glenbrae, Stonefields, St Patrick's, Tamaki College, Tamaki Primary, Ruapotaka, Panmure Bridge, Kura Kaupapa, Glen Innes School and Sommerville School.

Michael learns about Money

After morning tea Tessa,from ASB came to talk to us about being smart with money.

First she came and was talking to us about how to earn money. She said that you must save some and put it in your bank. Then she talked to us about interest. She said when you put your money in the bank you get a little bit of extra money.

Next she told Gordon and Limi and Mya to come and help her. They had to hold the card up and flip it. When they flipped it they both had to save $15 a week because they wanted to buy a car. Gordon had to put his one in the bank and Limi and Mya had to put their money in the money box. Then they flipped the page and Limi and Gordon had both saved the same amount of money but Gordon had 3% interest but Limi didn’t. Gordon had more money than Limi. Then they had to choose what car they were going to buy. Mya did not buy a car because she had little money. Limi bought a small car but Gordon bought a flash car because he had enough money.

After that Havea had to be an ATM. Tessa had to put her card and Havea said "declined" then she ran to the shop to buy a chocolate and she tried to swipe her card but it didn’t work because she had no money. Then she said, "Can I take it." Havea said, "no course you did not buy it."

Finally it was over then we got ASB arm bands from her.

On Saturday me and my family went to the beach. It was cool because we jumped off the rooks. It was cool.

When we got there we ran and jumped in to the beach. While we were swimming around me and my brother had a competition to see who can hold there breath for longer. My brother held his breath for are long time. Then I had a race with him and I was the winner. After that I went to play on the sand with my little sister. We were building a sand castle. It was so cool. We used the shell for the window and the stick for the flag. Then my brother came and broke the sand castle. Later I went back in the water then I went to the car and got the beach ball and we started to play volleyball. My sister was good at volleyball. She kept on winning. Finally I beat her. After that my little sister wanted the ball and I gave it to her. She enjoyed kicking the ball around until she was tired.
