Today for EOTC week we went to mini golf in orakei it was kind of cool but we had to wait for some of the other teams to finish their round.We went there because of EOTC and it was fun.We had to try whack the ball into the hole and we can only win by having less points.then after that we have to go back to school and we saw some police holding guns and blocking the roads

To day for eotc we went to bowling and lazer strike.First when we got there we had to sit down and our teacher put us into lots of groups.Then we start to bowl during our game we had to stop and go to laser strike and I was in the blue  team and we had to shoot  the people in the green team and after we finished we walked out and we looked at our school.We beat the green team and after that we went and ate our lunch.

In the holiday I went to my cousin's house we went to play on his ps4 the game we played ufc.After that  my cousin's mum told me and him to go eat something.Then we went outside and played touch for a little bit it started to get boring so we went inside and played gta 5.Then we went for a walk when we were walking we stop and saw a clown standing on the field we walk to see what it is then we walked back home and waited until my dad came to pick me up.after that my dad turned up and picked me up and i told him what we did at my cousin's house.

Term 4 My Goals

This are my goals for this term and what i want to focus on.

This term

This term was fantastic because we got to do lots of sports.We got to play lots of games with our teacher. The most fun I had was going to Kiwi Can and going to the rugby tournaments.I like that I met Myron Simpson and if you don't know him he is an athlete that does the cycling in velodrome. At the 2014 olympics he won gold and silver. He started riding bikes when he was 3 years old and carried on with bmx then road cycling than cycling in the velodrome.Myron Simpson said that most of his equipment is made out of carbon fibre.This term we went down to the lagoon pools and learnt how to swim. It was cool because sometimes at the end we get to do anything.What I liked about this term was that we got to do lots of active outside and playing sports.This term was fantastic.

Today for our duff assembly we had a special guest named Myron Simpson he came and told us about some of his equipment and he said”he use carbon fiber because it is light and makes it go faster and his helmet is aerodynamic so the wind doesn't make him slow down .I learn that you can’t be good if you don’t train and if you don’t work for it.He is role model because he is respectful and he listen to us when we are talk.When he riding his bike and he is in a race he goes 110 per an hour and he said a car can only go 40 when  it is near a school.

Yesterday we were learning our to swim it was fun because we done freestyle backstroke and other styles of swimming we had to do lots of laps and it was a little bit tired but when we finished we had a little came.

Making play dough

Today in class we made play dough it was fun but we had to use our maths skills  it was fun but we put too much which made it wet.When we were using our ratios our teacher said if you change one side you have to do the same to the other.It was fun our teacher let us grab some and play with it and she took photos every one was happy and everbody got one.

The recipe for the play dough is 

2 1/4 cup of flour

5 tablespoon of oil

5 drops of food colouring

1 cup of water

1/2 cup of salt

4 1/2 cup of flour

10 tablespoon of oil

10 drops of food colouring

2 cups of water

1 cup of salt

T.P.S Olympic day

On Thursday 18th of August the T.P.S senior went outside to play olympics.When we got there we had to sit in our year group then the opening ceremony began when some of the student leaders had to hold the touch and run to the next leader then they keep passing it on when it got back we got told where we have to go first.

The year 6 had to go to the relay then we had to get in a team how team had 6 but only 4 of them could go but it was ok cause we got to have our turn then we switched to long jump we had to pass the other person jump if we don’t then they win but we got to have lot’s of turn.After that we went to shot put then we had to throw it far but we had to sit down but there was lot’s of worm so most of sat on there knees then we moved to gymnastic we had to jump over this chair then we ran jumped then we had to roll after that we done handstand we got to have a little bit of turn because some of them did not want to have a turn so they wasted some of our time.

Next we had to play rob the nest but it was a different kind of rob the nest who ever got the most will win and then you have to put it back in the middle then the room 2 came and we played with them and it was so fun but the most i like was rugby after lunch time.But there was lots of games like relay,long jump,shot put,gymnastik and rob the nest after lunch we had to chose out of rugby basketball or netball.

Crafts

For crafts we were doing art then we had to choose out of bookmarks or captain america shield but  we had to make it i choose bookmarks we had to color it in. Then i went on to trying to make the captain america shield it was hard but i asked some people for help and then they showed me then i carried on with it and most of the time some people were sing songs and it was cool then we had to pack up miss had to choose two people that were good and miss choose Kira and October.

One day there was this guy he decided to go see a shark so he started to get his crew and they were bring  a army helicopter. then they left off up in the air then when they arrived he got down off the ladder then the shark jumped up and bit the ladder off he jumped off the ladder and start swimming but he was not fast at swimming then the shark bit his leg and he never went looking for a shark ever again.

Crafts

Today for crafts we were still carrying on with our scoobies from last week. We sat on the mat doing our scoobies, we had a different teacher because our teacher was doing something. After that we had to do some writing, we had to take a photo of our scoobies and blog it. Most of us were making our old ones and some of them were making a new one. Some of us were finished with our scoobies and we are making scoobies  so we can sell them for our market day
